Privacy Policy
This policy explains how the private Larkin Family Dashboard uses Google Calendar data. This public information website does not display family calendars or connect to the private dashboard.
What the dashboard accesses
After a household administrator connects a Google account, the dashboard reads the account's calendar list and the event details of calendars selected for display. It requests permission to create, edit, and delete calendar events, and to update calendar display colors when a user asks it to do so.
How that data is used
The dashboard combines selected calendars into day, week, and month views for authorized household users. It sends changes made in the dashboard back to the corresponding Google Calendar. It does not use Google Calendar data for advertising or model training.
Where data is kept
Selected calendar information and events are cached in PostgreSQL on the family's home computer. Google authorization credentials are stored on that computer so the connection can refresh. Local backups may also contain cached calendar data. The public website you are reading does not receive this data.
Who can see it
Calendar information in the private dashboard is available to household members with access to that dashboard. It is not published on this informational website. Calendar changes are transmitted to Google to fulfill the user's requested action. Google Calendar data is not sold or used for advertising.
Retention and removal
The local calendar cache and backups remain on the household computer until the administrator removes them. You can revoke the Google authorization in your Google Account connections; revocation stops future synchronization but does not automatically erase existing local copies. Contact the household dashboard administrator to request removal of cached data or backups.
